Well, today was my last day of school. Ever.

I'm so happy!

We had such a laugh as well. We came in and proceeded to wreak havoc - water bombs, flour bombs, eggs, water pistols, party poppers, silly string...the whole nine yards. And some guys actually rigged a tarp down the hill and made a water slide. There were stink bombs as well, I think. And fish. And the extremely sexy Polish student I fancy the pants off of stripped down to swimming trunks. GUH! *dies*

We were evicted from the premises by eleven in the AM. That has to be a record of some sort.

So after we'd been chucked out, we went down the beach and had a BBQ (Despite the fact that it was raining. By this point we couldn't really have got wetter anyway). And about three we went back to catch the buses home. Well a few of us did. The rest went back to egg the buses/school/students/teachers to hell.

Today I was reminded of my First True Love in terms of fandom.

Twenty years ago, a TV series was broadcast by the BBC. It starred an art-college drop-out, a cat, a senile computer, and a man who'd been dead for three million years...on a spaceship the size of a city. It was called Red Dwarf, and it has been the single most comforting constant in my life for as long as I can remember.

I'm doing a sponsored 24-hour fast to raise money to build an AIDs clinic in Nigeria. Now entering hour 22. I'm not too hungry yet, although that'll probably change soon...but there's a pack of chocolate hobnobs sitting on my desk. Mocking me. Stupid hobnobs.

On the upside, though, I finally got season 2 of Mag7. I've watched all the way through to 'Achilles' (Sacrificing a lot of sleep to do so, but who needs sleep anyway?) and I'm about to start 'Penance'
